Suspected militants belonging to the Karbi Peoples Liberation Tigers abducted two senior officials — the chief conservator of forests of Karbi Anglong Mr Abhijit Rabha and a range officer Mr. Ranjan Borua — of the forest department from an interior area of the Nagaon district on 3rd March 2012.
