18 frogs seized in Goa

On 4th May night Goa forest department officials along with the border police apprehended a Karnataka native for trying to smuggle 18 frogs into Goa.

Goa minister defends frog-poaching

Politicians should be more responsible, they shouldn't encourage frog poachers. Currently Fresh Water Frogs (Rana spp.) are protected under Schedule-IV of Wildlife Protection Act.
