Shop keeper convicted for trading snake skin bags

Snake skin smuggling in Assam

According to Assam forest department sources, about 200-300 numbers of snake skins are being smuggled out every year from Dhubri district and its adjacent areas to Bangladesh which are later sold in the international market.
