Three snow leopard skins seized in Kashmir

Police arrested two poachers with three snow leopard skins in Kishtwar district of Jammu & Kashmir on 9 April 2015. In an another incident body of a snow leopard with bullet injury marks found in the same district early this month.

Snow leopard skin seized in Dharchula, Uttarakhand

One snow leopard skin on the way the Nepal was seized and two persons were arrested by SSB officials in Dharchula, Indo-Nepal border in Pithoragarh district of Uttarakhand on 25th March 2012.

Snow Leopard poisoned in Western Himalayas

Snow leopard classified as endangered by IUCN was poisoned by a shepherd in Uttarakhand. Result of a human-animal conflict.
