DRI officials were seized Red sanders amounting to Rs. 1.37 crores at Vallarpadam Container Terminal, Kochi, Kerala on 27th October. Two persons were arrested in this connection. Red sanders is listed in Appendix II of CITES and it's export is regulated by export-import policy of India.
