Deer killed in West Bengal

On 11th April 2012, a deer that had strayed out of the wildlife sanctuary in Jaldapara was beaten to death, its flesh feasted upon by nine villagers and the remaining sold off at Banshidharpur village in Falakata block of Jalpaiguri district.
