A wanted leopard poacher was arrested with gun and other poaching equipments in Ranthambore tiger reserve, Rajasthan on the night of 21 September 2012 when he tried to kill a Nilgai (blue bull). Later villagers were gathered and thrashed forest guards and illegally detained four of them to pressurize forest department to release the poacher.
