A member of a notorious tiger poaching gang based in Haryana was arrested in Katerniaghat wildlife sanctuary Uttar Pradesh on 6 October 2012. Other gang members were escaped during search operation conducted by forest department and police, an iron leg hold spring trap and poison were seized from the arrested person.
