A tigress was found dead in a clutch wire trap under Army controlled area in Ampokhra Range of Terai West Forest Division, Uttarakhand on 21 December 2013. The State Forest Department has lodged a case naming the commandant of an Army depot as chiefly responsible for the death of a tigress.
