Tiger skin and bones seized in Nepal

Nepal Police arrested three persons, including an Indian national, in possession of endangered tiger’s skin and bones from Punarbas Municipality-8 in Kanchanpur district on 28 February 2015. Police nabbed the suspects while they were entering into Nepal with the animal parts they had brought from Sampurna Nagar, Lakhimpur Kheri district of Uttar Pradesh. This is the third major haul of smuggled parts of endangered tigers in the district in the past two months.
