A local court in Tharali, Chamoli district of Uttarakhand has found guilty in a person who was caught with one leopard skin on April 2013. Accused was sentenced to three years rigorous imprisonment and Rs. 10,000 fine. Earlier he was convicted on August this year by a court in Bageshwar district for his involvement in a seizure of two leopard skins in February 2013.
