Leopard poachers convicted in Haridwar

Yesterday (30 August 2012), a local court in Haridwar, Uttarakhand had sentenced two poachers to five years rigorous imprisonment and Rs. 10,000 fine each in connection with the seizure of a leopard skin in 2004 at Rajaji National Park.
