Leopard and civet cat killed in road accident

A leopard was killed in road accident in Dehradun, Uttarakhand on 19 December 2012. In an another case of road accident a civet cat was killed in Mandaal range of Corbett Tiger Reserve.

Bear gall bladders and civet cat skin seized in Uttarakhand

There is an information received today (30 May 2012) that Uttarakhand police arrested 5 people with 3 bear gall bladders of Asiatic black bear, a civet cat skin & skull and 18 pieces of swamp deer antlers at Ghansali, Tehri Garhwal district.
