Leopard was found dead with its four paws, canines and whiskers removed by poachers in Chhattisgarh's Raipur district on 26th September. This animal was electrocuted by poachers.

Two poaching cases cracked in Nagarhole Tiger Reserve
Two recent poaching cases reported from Nagarhole Tiger Reserve, Karnataka in which poachers were fired to forest guards had solved and three people were arrested in this connection so far.

25 shahtoosh shawls seized at Delhi airport
An Indian citizen returned from US was detained with 25 shahtoosh shawls (made of under fleece of Tibetan antelope), 89 pashmina shawls and 55 stoles. A case under customs act was registered against the accused. He may tried also under Wildlife Protection Act. It's a rare case in the sense of normally shawls are illegally exporting from the country but in this case it's illegally imported into the country.

21 persons arrested for poaching black-naped hares
